Job Description

  • Analyze how process changes will affect overall production and the service or product.
  • Implement process improvements to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
  • Supports vision of “Best Practice” and standard processes, while assessing business individual needs, meeting
  • commitments and building internal and external relationships.
  • Mediates across different teams utilizing knowledge of ITIL and roles and responsibilities within the organization.
  • Supports strategic direction on new processes and technologies in support of the user community and manage the
  • implementation of the long-term vision.
  • Executes best practices for business analysis processes and functions including requirements elicitation methods.
  • Leads working sessions using a variety of requirements gathering methods such as interviews, documentation analysis,
  • surveys, site visits, and business models with managers and subject matter experts.
  • Focuses on process analysis and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate
  • to the current and future environment.
  • Partner closely with CSI Manager to implement continual service process improvements.
  • Identifying and implementing changes to the process while identifying exceptions and deviations, as well as management
  • of these situations.
  • Support communication of new and changed policies.
  • Ensuring the standards and procedures are being followed.
  • Creating, analyzing and distributing process reports.
  • Act as focal point for the process, communicate with process managers and management.
  • Facilitate resolution of issues with items not complying with the global process.
  • Following a defined escalation path when needed, as defined in the escalation policy.
  • Using assessments to determine when the process when standards and procedures are not being followed.
  • Utilizing measurements and targets to improve process effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Responsible for evaluating the performance of the process.
  • Assists auditing of the process for compliance with documented procedures.
  • Defines those parts of the Process Framework not defined by the Process Owner.

Experience Required

  • Degree in some aspect of Business, Engineering and/or Computer Science is required.
  • 2+ years of ITIL framework experience within one or more IT organizations or Operations
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across the engineering, operations and application development groups that exist in
  • most IT organizations. Sufficiently mature and self confident to address organizational issues/conflicts in a proactive but
  • professional manner.
  • Must be able to establish organizational discipline around best practices that yields clear and obvious benefits without
  • imposing undue bureaucracy upon managers and staff members.
  • Strong familiarity with ITIL v3 as demonstrated through formal training and/or certification or through practical
  • experience in developing and/or implementing ITIL v3 compliant processes.
  • Demonstrate awareness of the business priorities, objectives and business drivers.
  • Demonstrates awareness of the role ITSM plays in enabling the business objectives to be met.
  • Creative and flexible in attitude and style to adapt to new situations in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.
  • The qualitative and quantitative analytical skills needed to build and implement insight-based models.
  • The Process Manager will display a communication style based around negotiation and information.
  • High degree of analytical skills to be able to assess the impact of problems and known errors on different business
  • systems and people. Demonstrated success in process improvement
  • Ability to work and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • Experience leading people and building cohesive teams is a critical business need
