Video Materials Library System (inStudio) |
 |
SAD sp. z o.o. - Apple IMC Poland for TVN24 sp. z o.o. television (Poland) |
 |
The
objective of this project was to create a library of video clips used
by a 24/7 news TV station. The system which was developed facilitates
the creation and management of a multimedia file database. The Video
Materials Library System, later named inStudio, is composed of several
modules. The first of them, a desktop application for the Mac OS X
system, archives materials. Another module is an internet application
which searches the archive and gains access to the files stored within.
inStudio also includes a desktop application to manage the entire
system (e.g. management of back-up copy creation, users’ rights etc.).
For more information see the case study on the inStudio Video Materials Library System. |

Virtual Classroom |
 |
Micro Conseil International (France) |
 |
The
objective of this project was to create a demonstration version of a
complex, distributed e-learning-type software. A very short delivery
time was a major constraint to the completion of the task. The project
included:
- a virtual workshop to show slides, write and draw on a shared board and use integrated chat etc.,
- a library for materials, home assignments etc., implemented as a
local disk (WebDAV) facilitating editing of the content through a www
interface or drag-and-drop,
- public and private chat for students and teachers,
- an interactive system recording classes live and replaying them later,
- audio/video streaming independent of the platform,
- integration with server LDAP, e-mail and NNTP servers.

The
"Dr. Mercola" project is an example of full outsourcing of IT services
from design to implementation, including maintenance and extension of
the system over a number of years. Commercial success lifted our
client, Optimal Wellness Center, to top among American portals dealing
with natural health (February 2004). The key elements of IT
infrastructure developed for OWC by Power Media include the following:
- an online store integrated with transport services provided by UPS
and USPS, numerous forms of payment and advanced efficiency mechanisms
used in the correct processing of thousands of orders per hour,
- an administration panel,
- a reporting system,
- a system for partner companies.

Scanvec Amiable Portal |
 |
Netica Ltd. (Israel) |
 |
The
objective of this project was to build a CMS system for the Scanvec
Amiable business portal. One of the difficulties it presented was the
very short time available for execution of the first stage. We had only
one month to develop the first operational version of the system with
basic functionalities. The team had to design, develop, test and
implement the application within only 20 working days. Following
completion of this stage, work on extension of the system began and
after two more months the system was fully implemented. |
