Project: inStudio Multimedia Asset Management Solution
Client: SAD sp. z o.o. - Apple IMC Poland for TVN24 sp. z o.o. television (Poland)
Description: The objective of this project was to create a library of video clips used by a 24/7 news TV station. The system which was developed facilitates the creation and management of a multimedia file database. Our MAM Solution called inStudio is composed of several modules. The first of them, a desktop application for the Mac OS X system, archives materials. Another module is an internet application which searches the archive and gains access to the files stored within. inStudio also includes a desktop application to manage the entire system (e.g. management of back-up copy creation, users’ rights etc.).

Description: ifirma.pl is the first Polish online accounting platform enabling micro and small business to do bookkeeping on their own and safely. ifirma is a user friendly web application with a clear interface and automation of data processing. This SaaS solution is supported by our customer service center that includes a team of accounting experts. The project is constantly adapted to the changes in the legal environment.

Project: The largest tourism portal in Poland
Client: Travelplanet.pl S.A. (Poland)
Description: Our cooperation with the biggest Polish broker of online tourist services includes the development of an application used for import and automatic conversion of various documents to a common format. The system also provides an internet application that enables the customers to search and purchase trips, and provides Travelplanet's consultants with access to existing reservations and payments made. One of the most technologically advanced tools is semantic search engine.

Description: Moovya.com is a tourist social media portal with an enormous data base of hotels located all over the world. Thanks to this portal,friends may keep in touch, exchange photographs or movies and share experience from their trips.

Project: Solution for electronic mail system monitoring
Client: Telefonia Dialog S.A.(Poland)
Description: The application was created to monitor, collect and analyze logs of electronic mail system. Data from several e-mail servers of different types are gathered and presented in the user interface. It allows to easily search and review all logs as well as generate necessary reports with suitable records.

Client: Aatrix Software (USA)
Description: Power Media created a Mac OS X desktop application connected to Aatrix's Payroll and Reporting solutions, which integrate into packages such as Ultimate Payroll, TopPay and Acclivity Accounting.

Project: Virtual Classroom
Client: Micro Conseil International (France)
Description: The objective of this project was to create a demonstration version of a complex, distributed e-learning-type software. A very short delivery time was a major constraint to the completion of the task. The project included:
  • a virtual workshop to show slides, write and draw on a shared board and use integrated chat etc.,
  • a library for materials, home assignments etc., implemented as a local disk (WebDAV) facilitating editing of the content through a www interface or drag-and-drop,
  • public and private chat for students and teachers,
  • an interactive system recording classes live and replaying them later,
  • audio/video streaming independent of the platform,
  • integration with server LDAP, e-mail and NNTP servers.

Project: Apple Store
Client: SAD sp. z o.o. - Apple IMC Poland
Description: The objective of this project was to launch a professional online store for Apple products in Poland. Functionality also covers the cooperation with distributors and educational clients. The store management is totally based on a www interface.

Project: CRM system for a mobile telephony operator
Client: Accenture (Poland)
Description: A team of Power Media engineers worked with Accenture on the development and implementation of new CRM software for the leading Polish cellular telephony operator. The project involved the creation of a system and integration with the existing software.

Project: Electronic Bill
Client: BillBird S.A. (Poland)
Description: This project was carried out for one of the leading Polish companies dealing with the processing of receivables and payments, one with its own network of services connected with payments. Electronic Bill was a new EBPP (Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment) solution.

Project: "Dr. Mercola" website
Client: Optimal Wellness Center (USA)
Description: The "Dr. Mercola" project is an example of full outsourcing of IT services from design to implementation, including maintenance and extension of the system over a number of years. Commercial success lifted our client, Optimal Wellness Center, to top among American portals dealing with natural health (February 2004). The key elements of IT infrastructure developed for OWC by Power Media include the following:
  • an online store integrated with transport services provided by UPS and USPS, numerous forms of payment and advanced efficiency mechanisms used in the correct processing of thousands of orders per hour,
  • an administration panel,
  • a reporting system,
  • a system for partner companies.

Project: Energy Savings Internet Tool (ESIT)
Client: Magnolia International Ltd., formerly Obinary Ltd. (Switzerland)
Description: The objective of this project was to build an advanced database with information on energy savings projects at Roche production sites all over the world. The system includes tools for collecting data on the projects and monitoring statistics regarding energy savings, these broken down by utility (electricity, heating etc.). The program also has a built-in, multi-layer system of access control and a complex reporting module.

Project: Recording and analysis of medical examinations - MedReg
Client: Academy GmbH & Co.KG (Germany)
Description: A system recording and analyzing histories of medical examination results. The application enables doctors to create their own sets of criteria (meters, parameters and symptoms) with any structure. The system is composed of an internet application and desktop program.

Project: Hangar Planner Enterprise
Client: OneMileUp Inc. (USA)
Description: The objective of the Hangar Planner Enterprise project was to build an internet version of the existing Hangar Planner desktop system offered by OneMileUp Inc., which is used in the optimization of hangar space management at the airports. Drawing upon the experience gained while working on the Ground Space Management System project for the same client, the Power Media team needed only three months to prepare and implement the system.

Project: PowerPoint Sorter
Client: Academy GmbH & Co.KG (Germany)
Description: PowerPoint Sorter is an internet application used in providing access to presentations and Microsoft® PowerPoint® displays. It enables the user to view PowerPoint presentations directly in an internet browser in the form of thumbnails and selected slides in larger sizes. With the use of this application it is also possible to download a set of selected slides as an output presentation.

Project: Scanvec Amiable Portal
Client: Netica Ltd. (Israel)
Description: The objective of this project was to build a CMS system for the Scanvec Amiable business portal. One of the difficulties it presented was the very short time available for execution of the first stage. We had only one month to develop the first operational version of the system with basic functionalities. The team had to design, develop, test and implement the application within only 20 working days. Following completion of this stage, work on extension of the system began and after two more months the system was fully implemented.

Project: Preparation of the specification for adjustment of software to Polish conditions
Client: IDIT (Israel)
Description: The objective of the IDIT project was to prepare the specification for adjustment of insurance management software for use in the Polish market. The project covered research into the specificity of the market and Polish insurance regulations, as well as a proposal for the adjustment strategy. The project was implemented in Israel, the software used by Link4.

Project: Foto.co.il e-commerce system
Client: Netica Ltd. (Israel)
Description: The objective of this project was to develop an e-commerce solution for products and services connected with digital photography. Apart from placing and delivering orders the system also enables publication of galleries of pictures and their dispatch to friends.
